A plein air canvas in oils while on a painting holiday to Nice, France 2015.

The Port of St Jean at Cap Ferrat is a painter’s delight. It’s a bustling colourful harbour full of boats of all shapes and sizes. On the Quayside and in the village square are lots of small stalls and shops with their awnings and flags fluttering in the breeze and up on the adjacent hills terracotta coloured villas with mature gardens and old twisted pines…had to be painted.
