Aloft the wind, forever free
Oil on Canvas, Size: 90 x 170cm | 36 x 67 "
My art has focused on equestrian for many years and served me well, but recently my emphasis has been on landscapes, particularly paintings inspired by my perennial and herbaceous garden.
Seascapes of local Mayo beaches also take a preference, working mainly Plein air which assists me greatly in capturing the true colours and light of our West of Ireland Landscape.
My collection includes original pieces & fine art prints. Commissions are always welcome too.
This book chronicles a story in paintings of our holiday-of-a-lifetime on Horse Safari at Kujwana and Mokolwane Camps in the vast and sparsely populated Okavanga Delta in Botswana. This was followed with five days Tigerfish fishing Nxameseri - a remote location on the Okavanga River. Both were beyond our wildest dreams.
Is an original painting a little out of your budget? Not to worry. You can now order A3 sized prints of previously sold original paintings. These prints are made in limited editions, will keep their quality for over 100 years behind glass and act as a great showpiece and talking point on your wall.
Interview with Trish who exhibited at the Dublin Horse Show in 2014. When Flatout Media caught up with her, Trish was then exhibiting a series of oils and mixed media paintings depicting the plight of the American Mustang.

I find drawing such a fundamental part of the creative processes....it helps direct fleeting ideas that cross my thoughts to my fingers holding a pen or pencil; a small thumbnail sketch can be a hugely important starting point for a very successful painting, drawing or illustration. The sketches attached are ideas for another illustrated story....animals take it into their own paws & claws to save our fragile planet!

Winter Logging is a fabulous painting... so rich in all its earthy colours, the sun rising through the early morning mist and the horses breath, I love the mood of it! I could not be happier! Thank you for your art Trish and your professional care in the shipping. I have my eye on another of yours ‘Lena takes the strain’ - saw it in the ‘Blaithin de Sacy Gallery’ in Clifton during the summer. Your art takes the room!
This painting struck me the moment I saw it at your art exhibition at the RDS horseshow. As you recall I kept returning to your show all that day, often times just to look at it and get caught up in its wintery mood. I'm so excited to have it in my house now, hanging exactly where my attention will be most of the time, inspiring me as it does. Thank you so much Trish, it's an amazing painting.
This painting is absolutely stunning, Trish is amazing. I met her first in Dublin at the RDS horse show some years ago and spotted this enormous painting of magnificent Mustangs in the desert. I absolutely love it, and its title ‘Desert Echo’ so fitting for my house here in Muscat, Oman, with the desert only a stone’s throw from this wonderful city I live in. Trish emailed regularly status updates on the shipping of the painting, which was on time and delivered in perfect condition. I intend to order another from her collection.
Thank you so very much for your beautiful artwork we received in Melbourne Australia. We are even happier that we hoped to be! Your professionalism throughout the ordering process, keeping us informed of when the painting would be completed, the delivery time and packing was excellent. The painting arrived just two weeks after we ordered it. ‘Oceans Meadow’ is hanging on our living room wall and receives so many compliments. We would highly recommend you for your talent and professionalism and hope to save some more and purchase another of your paintings.
I appreciate the speed of the shipment all the way from Ireland and the careful wrapping of my purchases. I opened them today and will decide carefully where to hang them in my living room. They are such a beautiful addition to my home. I am so pleased to have seen your work at Ashford outdoors while on holiday in Ireland. I rode the same endearing Connemara pony you ride ‘Willow’ and when I saw your drawing of him just had to buy it. With these lovely works of art, their colors, texture and expressiveness I will treasure them always.
