This is our neighbour’s Belgium Brabant horse ‘Lena.’ She was a wonderful helper on his farm and is happy to pull harvested and fallen trees out of the copse.

I’ve painted her here taking steady steps down a snow covered moss track. For such a large breed these horses are sure footed.
