Bone-Fishing From A Sandbar
Fly fishing in the Bahamas is a prized sport and in this painting a fisherman has caught on a barbless hook a big Bonefish which he will play and then release as is the law there to protect their tourism and sustain the species. The horizon clouds are gathering to blow a short storm which is very common during the hot days of spring and autumn.
I used a limited palette of colour mainly blues , ochre’s, naples yellow and titanium white.
